  3. What you need … • ball and net • 7 players per team (professional) • 2 referees • only 2 players needed for a fun game.

  4. Equipment • a round ball – 24 cm in diameter • string net hanging from a round metal hoop • a net with a backboard behind it • net 3 m from the ground

  5. A basketball court • Flat, rectangle-shaped area • 26 m long and 14 m wide • painted with many lines and circles • Circle is in the middle of court • 3-point line around each net
