But first… Let me Plug my services • Research Skills – Big 6, Ebsco, Website Evaluation, Advanced Searching • Schedule me to come to your classroom to help research • Research topics for you and develop resource lists or pathfinders for your projects • Still come to the library sometime during the research process so students may use books or periodicals. • SSR as a class and homeroom

  4. Something to remember when you plan

  5. Planning Tips Make an honest evaluation of your skill level and ask for help when you need it. Practice with the technology or visit the web site before you use it with the students. Set small goals for using tech. in class if you are uncomfortable with tech. Determine when technology will help the learning process and when it will detract from it.

  6. Start with the tablet • Peer editing with inking. • Have students place Power Points into One Note. • Ink Cards • Annotate with inking or in One Note

  7. Edline • Post articles or readings. Have students annotate or discuss articles in a discussion thread. • Post student presentations on Edline and open a discussion for other students to comment. • Open a discussion for questions about assignments or material. Encourage students to check the discussion board and try to answer other students questions. • Come to the help desk if you need help with any of this.
