  1. Enhancing Residential Security Using Low-Budget Means A home provides us shelter, independence & protection, but is your residence safe? Powered By

  2. Residential safety is important because it is where you live with your family and loved ones and keep your cherished belongings. A safe house ensures safety of your family and assets, but many times we fail to make it a safer place because of expenses and our carelessness, but is it wise to compromise on the defense of your home? Not everyone can afford purchasing expensive lock systems or keeping security guards, but that doesn’t mean they can’t make their homes safer. There are some economical ways too to make your vulnerable house secure.

  3. Security Blinds & Shades Windows of your house provide easy peeking to thieves into your house. Window not covered properly are a great aid for thieves. However, windows covered with shades and blinds don’t allow thieves to peep into your house, and minimize the chances of theft. In addition to this, they are economical and very useful. Create Illusions One way to avoid theft is to let thieves know that you are not away. The best, easiest and low-cost way to create this illusion is putting lights and TV on. It is highly recommended for those who live in a susceptible place where rate of crime is higher

  4. Be Vigilant! Always keep your eyes peeled on strangers and suspicious people in your vicinity and involve your neighbors too. Combined vigilance enhances safety of your own house and the residences in the neighborhood. Besides being vigilant, keep emergency numbers and discuss your security concerns with them. Being watchful doesn’t involve any cost, does it? Remove Objects that Provide Access to Your House Things like ladder, rope and garden chairs aid thieves in getting access to your home. Using these, it gets easier for them to break into your house. It is, therefore, important that you keep them inside your garage or store after use.

  5. Remove Indicators Don’t leave any note or notice on your door when you are away from home. Your answering machines could also reveal that you aren’t home. Such notices indicate that it is a good time for thieves to break into your house and run away with your valuable things. Lock Your Garage & House Most importantly, lock your garage, doors, cabinets, etc. If you think your locks need repair and aren’t reliable, get them fixed or replace them with new and robust locks. So, if you wish to improve residential safety, use tough locks. A safer home alleviates stress and ensures happiness and comfort and it is possible to achieve this through low-budget ways. Whether you are home or not, these simple safety measures not only come handy, but are effective too.
