FIPG Risk Management Guidelines • Must follow policies if: • Event is on Chapter property • Hosted by a member of the Chapter • Half or more in attendance are members of the Chapter (school policies are different for this ) • The event discussed at a Chapter meeting, and there alcohol present. • Closed functions ONLY. • Alcohol is not sold or given away

FIPG Guidelines Con’t. • Chapter funds are not used to purchase alcohol • Check and mark people who are 21 • Appoint sober brothers to monitor the party • No glass bottles or containers are allowed • You MUST provide non-alcoholic beverages • Check AXP website for FIPG manual or go to www.FIPG.org

  5. What Precautions Should I Take? • School Policies • Facility checklist • BYOB Party Sign • Guests Lists • Wristbands • School ID verified • Have good relationship with neighbors and police

  6. BYOB Party Sign • 18 to Enter; 21 to Drink • BYOB: Must have valid ID

  7. Guest Lists • Name of guest • Invited By • Age • ID Verified: Yes/No • Phone Number • Address • Time Entered/Time Departed

  8. Drinking Games • Drinking games are forbidden at any Chapter function, or on Chapter property. A drinking game is defined as any game that would require any participants to drink alcohol before, during, or after the game.
