  4. 6th September 2011 Today I started doing my initial plan, by looking at the website and taking sub headings and tasks from there.

  5. 23rd September 2011 Today I started work on my EatWellDatabase. I also had to make sure that I took print screens of my steps and I have started to create a step by step instruction PowerPoint on how to create a database. I also had to put in 3 of our own records.

  6. 4thOctober 2011 Today I began to create my questionnaire. My questionnaire is made up of a series of questions to help me determine key aspects of my project such as what the favourite food group of my audience are, what activities they would enjoy doing for their challenges, if they would prefer to do the challenges with friends or alone etc.… I also finished off entering my own pieces of data into my database and creating the evidence PowerPoint.

  7. 7th October 2011 Today I continued on with the creation of my questionnaire, I finished the basic template and began to ask for feedback from my test buddy and she told me that I needed to make my questionnaire more related to my theme, so I changed the colour of my text to follow my colour scheme, then I added a picture from the change 4 life website. I then started to insert the information from my questionnaire into a spread sheet for me to be able to analyse the information on it

  8. 18th October 2011 Today I started to insert the information that I collated from my survey onto a spread sheet, this will enable me to analyse the information quickly and will aid me in establishing which food groups were most favoured/least favoured, which will then help me create my reports and meal cards.

  9. 23rd October 2011 Today I continued with the building of my spread sheet, however I moved onto the analysis of the data and began to create pie charts, as I developed my spread sheet I created a step by step guide to explain my decisions.

  10. 8th November 2011 Today I continued with analysis of my spread sheet, I moved on from using countif statements to using countifs statements to cross reference the data and gain more knowledge from my questionnaire.

  11. 11th November 2011 Today I began creating my queries which will then lead to the creation of my reports. I had to ensure that the validations for the reports reflected the research I did to ensure that the portions that I suggested were healthy.

  12. 22nd November 2011 Today I began creating my reports from my queries. As I had excess records I went through them all and took out all the ones that I thought were either in appropriate with the course that the report was for or either ones that I thought weren’t as healthy as the other available options.

  13. 25h November 2011 Today I continued with the creation of my reports, with some feedback from my test buddy I began to whittle down my reports list even more as she said it could have been shorter. I also decided to personalise my reports so they fitted my theme through out the project. As today is my last lesson for quite a while I had to ensure that I had all the resources required for me to continue on with my work out of class time.

  14. 20th December 2011 Today I began to create my meal cards for both the main course meal and the desert. I got the information for my meal card from my report. I chose what I thought would be a combination of delicious yet healthy ingredients to create an enjoyable main course. I collected the nutritional information for this meal through research.

  15. 17th January 2012 Today is my first lesson back from my Christmas holidays. Today I continued with the creation of the second part of my meal card. To build up the desert course, I did the same thing as I did with the making of my main course, I got the information for the nutritional information from research.

  16. 20th January 2012 Today I began to create my challenge card, I used the criteria that was given to me off the website to ensure that I included aspects that were needed.

  17. 31st January 2012 Today I continued with the creation of my challenge card, after receiving feedback from my peers I have made small adjustments such as the sizing of the box for tracking the progress. I was told that it was too small to make a detailed comment in it so I decided to expand it.

  18. 3rd February 2012 Today is my last lesson before half term and I spent it making small changes to my work, following the feedback that was given to me from both my peers and my teacher. I have collected all the work necessary so that I am able to continue with my alterations over the half term. I also used this time to catch up on the dates for my ongoing plan.

  19. 6th February 2012 I took the time at home to finish off small details of my work, such as going over certain documents, reading feedback from my test buddies and making necessary alterations to fit in line with what they said could be improved.

  20. 7th February 2012 Whilst at home I began working on my e-portfolio and I began to create headings for each branch relating to the different sections of my work.

  21. 8thFebruary 2012 Today I began writing introductions for each section of my work. These intros enables the viewers to get a rough idea of what each heading includes and the work that I had to do

  22. 9th February 2012 Today I beagn writing my review. My review basically includes things that I had to do throughout this project, how I found each task, any problems that I came up against and how I overcame them. I found this section very long and tiring

  23. 10th February 2012 Today I rounded off with the completion of my e-portfolio and I exported it into a website looking at any small tweaks that I had to make.
