  3. But…. • ANE –ADJECTIVE NOUN ENDING • If the adjective comes before the noun, then it requires an ending • Eg the black jumper = der schwarzePulli • What ending???

  4. Definite article / bestimmteArtikel = the = der/die/das etc • Indefinite article / unbestimmteArtikel = a = ein/eine/ein • Negative Article/ negative Artikel = kein/keine/kein • Possessive Adjective = mein/dein/sein/ihr/unser/euer/ihr/Ihr

  5. Adjective Endings Group 1 • These adjectives come between the definite article and the noun • egthe interestingfilm, thebigschool, themodernhotel • It doesn’t matter how many adjectives…they all have the same ending

Adjective Endings Group 2 • These adjectives come between the indefinite article and the noun, between the negative article and the noun or between the possessive adjective and the noun • eganinteresting book, my bighouse, hissmallhotel • It doesn’t matter how many adjectives…they all have the same ending.
