  19. REFINING-DOWNSTREAM –CONTD… PETROLEUM PRODUCTS AND THEIR USAGE Liquefied Petroleum gas is used as Domestic fuel. Also for Industrial application where technically essential. Now permitted as Auto fuel. Naphtha/NGL is used as Feedstock/Fuel in Fertilizer units, feedstock for petrochemical sector and fuel for Power plants. Gasoline or Petrol is used as a fuel in motor cars, scooters, motor cycles, and other light vehicles. Kerosene oil is used as household oil (cooking/lighting).
