  2. Il leiomioma è la più frequente neoplasia benigna dell’esofago. • L’enucleazione con approccio toracotomico destro è stato per molto tempo il trattamento standard. • Negli ultimi anni si sono sviluppate diverse tipologie di trattamento mininvasivo.

  3. SCOPO DELLO STUDIO Presentare la nostra esperienza di enucleazione toracoscopica con paziente in posizione prona.

  4. CASISTICA Tra Giugno 2010 ed Agosto 2011, 3 pazienti sono stati trattati per leiomioma esofageo sintomatico

  6. RISULTATI Nessuna conversione in toracotomia Non recidive (follow up di 4-18 mesi)

CONCLUSIONI • Tecnica sicura con risultati comparabili alle altre tecniche mininvasive. • A nostro avviso: • migliore ergonomia del chirurgo, • ottima visualizzazione del campo operatorio, • vantaggi dal punto di vista ventilatorio • trattamento di scelta in un centro con alta esperienza di chirurgia mininvasiva .
