  1. How to make Panchamrita? Panchamrita, also known as the divine nectar, is a popular dessert from the northern belt of India. It is believed that Panchamrita is a purifying nectar and hence is used in many pujas. Apart from being a delicious treat, Panchamrita has a wide range of health benefits, especially for pregnant women. Panchamrita balances Pitta dosha. Pitta dosha is responsible for nausea, vomiting and morning sickness - common ailments faced by women who are pregnant. Panchamrita helps pacify a raging pitta dosha and reduces these ailments. Panchamrita helps with digestion. Women who are pregnant usually complain a lot about digestive problems. The honey in the Panchamrit recipe helps soothe these difficulties.
