Grants and eRA Commons

Grants.gov is a centralized system established by the federal government in 2002 under the E-Government initiative. It provides grant seekers with a centralized location to find and apply for over 1,000 grant programs from 26 federal grant-making agencies. Electronic submission via Grants.gov is required for all competing grant applications. The system also allows users to search for grants, access application handouts, and provides tools for electronic processing of grants through the eRA Commons system.
