  1. Français III projetcinématique (votre film)

  2. les critères • Create a 3 minute film with a 1 minute introduction. • The introduction must explain briefly and in French how you have fulfilled the criteria for the project.

  3. The film must have narration, dialogue or extensive (intertitres). • There must be at least two dialogues of three exchanges or more. • Oùétais-tumonami ? • Je suis allé dans les caves au dessous de Paris. • Oh ! Intéressant ! Qu’est-ce que tu as fait dans les caves ? • J’ai rencontré des Allemands qui m’ont fait voyager dans le temps. • Formidable ! Ça doit être dangereux ! • Oui, très dangereux. J’ai vu mon propre mort.

  4. If your film has only narration or intertitres, such substitutions must be equivalent to the requirements for dialogue. • Example: for narrations, one would need approximately six sentences of narration to equal the three exchanges of dialogue required.

  5. Your film must treat subject matter similar or related to that of the chosen director or genre. • Example • Jean Renoir’s films were highly social and treated issues of class differences and similarities. • Your film could treat the same subject matter by portraying the differences and similarities between social groups here at school or in the community.

  6. You must employ at least 1 cinematographic technique used by the director or exemplary of the genre or movement. • Example: • Francois Truffaut used long sustained uncut scenes or panning shots that showed the subjects from a great distance. You could do the same.
