  3. The Barbados Yacht Club Great Beaches, on the last Friday of the month The Yacht Club has a party and many friends meet up. The Yacht club is a great hangout place where a lot of people meet up, either at night to dance or on afternoons to swim. A lot of my class goes.

  4. Bowling In Barbados on special weekends we go out and bowl. I am not the best at bowling but its fun just going and hanging out. This is another meet up/ hang out spot.

  5. BEACHES! Almost every weekend my family goes to the beach, sometimes we meet up with friends. We just pick a beach and go hang out. Sometimes we bring our surf boards and go catch waves. Most of the population in Barbados has at least attempted surfing. Alan Burke is the most popular teacher in Barbados and after you know the surfing basics you can just grab a board and go. To get better you need to practice! Beaches are fun and after just hanging out by the sea we all go somewhere for dinner after all the sun.

  6. Sheridan Mall The Sheridan mall is one of my favorite spots. The mall is not that big and pretty easy to get around. It has a movie theater, a pizza place (one of the best on the island), smoothie place, Italian Coffee store, and tons of shopping. A lot of the things are pretty expensive so its fun just to go to the movies with friends, eat at the pizza place for dinner and then roam around the shops with your friends. This mall is pretty safe and doesn’t have much crime. Sometimes I just ask for money and go to the mall, usually on Saturdays because the mall doesn’t have late hours on Sunday.

  7. Chilly Moos Chilly Moos is the best ice cream shop on the island! Its really fun to go and get some ice cream with friends then go across the street to roam around the Accra beach, The Ice cream is superb! Yum!

  8. Lime Grove Lime grove is a new mall on the West coast that has a movie theater yet to come out. The shops are fun to roam around but most everything is too expensive. The mall is still not finished but should be done soon. It’s a good hang out spot and has a few good Ice cream and coffee shops.

  9. Friday Fish Fry The Oistins Fish fry is a place where you go on Friday nights to get your fish. Flying fish, marlin, dolphin, barracuda and sword fish. Mostly Bajans go but some tourists tag along. Its usually hot and crowded but the fried fish is delicious.

  10. Sports Barbados’ sports include cricket, Bajanfootball, and rounders. You can also watch Polo, there are many polo fields on he island. Rounders is an interesting game similar to baseball. Bajan football is similar to soccer but much more aggressive and not as many rules, like street soccer. Cricket is a common game in the UK also a bit like baseball but not exactly. The Garrison Field is a good open sports field and sometimes me and my brother go and play soccer there.

  11. Thanks! Barbados has a lot to offer for teens! Check it out!
