This is John Wayne and Ward Bond’s 22nd and final film together. • Bond’s death scene filmed from a distance because it was a stunt double. • Earned $5.5 million • An unrealistic affair between the 26 year old Dickinson and the 51 year old Wayne • Since the film had two crooners director included three songs in the film soundtrack. • Shot on location at Old Tuscon Studios, just oustide Tuscon, AZ. • Assault on Precinct 13 essentially a remake of the film.
