WW , the end oftheAustro-Hungarianmonarchy , Babín in theCzechslovakRepublic

  5. 1930 –Babínersbrokeouttheoldwoodenchurch and started to builtthe new stone church. 1933 – stone churchfinished 1923 – Babín burnt. 48 peoplelosttheirhomes 23 April 1934 – itwastheworstday in thehistoryofthevillage .Thebuildingof on anoldwoodenschoolcaughtfire.Thefiredestroyed 104 houseswithfarms and itkilled 124 pigs 158 chickens and 17 beehives ,on amazinglyonly 4 peopledied. Butalmosteveryonelosttheirhome 1944 – a fewBabinersdied in thesecondworldwaratKrosne, Serbia..
