  2. Causes of World War 2 Germany wanted back what they had lost in WW1 and they also wanted revenge. Appeasement- Great Britain and France gave Hitler land without fighting for it. Hitler was racist; he invaded countries simply to kill the Jews living there.

  3. Time Period of World War 2 World War 2 lasted from the 1930’s to the 1940’s.

  4. Location of World War 2 World War 2 took place in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

  5. Key People, Places, Events, and Technology Key People- Adolph Hitler, Benito Mussolini, HidikiTojo, Heinrich Himmler, and the Jews. Key Places- Normandy, Pearl Harbor, Phillipines, Berlin, Dunkirk, and London. Key Events- D-day, Battle of Midway, Hitler invades Poland, Stalingrad, The Holocaust, and Anti-semitism. Key Technology- radar, tanks, ballistic missiles, jet fighters, small arms, and anti-tank rifles.

Countries Involved in World War 2 Allies- FOR Germany Axis- AGAINST Germany Allies- Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czechoslavakia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, India, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, UK, Yugoslakia, and others. Axis- Italy, Japan, and others.

  7. Our Involvement In World War 2 The U.S.A. got involved in WW2 after Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.

  8. Main Points of the Treaty (BRAT) Germany had to accept the Blamefor starting World War 2. Germany paid for Reparations for damage done during the war. Germany was forbidden to have submarines or an air force. They could have a navy of only 6 battleships and an Army of only 100,000 men. Germany’sTerritory(land) in Europe was given to Great Britain and France.
