UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK INTRODUCING THE NEW GROUP:THE DANISH-RUSSIAN WATER GROUP • The new club is created because of an increased focus on water and waste water treatment within the Russian society • The aim is to collect Danish companies specialized within the sector of water and wastewater treatment • Focusing on water and wastewater management and the opportunities of cooperation between Denmark and Russia • The new sectorclub is based on agreements signedduring Minister for Environment Ida Aukens visit to St. Petersburg September 19th and 20th

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK Protocol signed between Minister for Environment Ida Auken and the Governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko • The protocols are a framework for environmental cooperation in six prioritized areas: • impact of climate change on urban economy • air quality in cities • water supply and discharge systems • resource-savings • waste management and • waste minimization

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK Energy and Environment Club Russia • For the Low Hanging Fruits project we have received a grant to identify and develop 5 projects in 5 cities with less than 5 year pay back time • The maximum cost must be 3 mill. EUR and minimum 3 Danish companies must act as suppliers • The grant will cover the cost of a consultant with a specialization in energy saving who will in cooperation with the Trade Council Russia and EKF visit 5 cities in order to identify the possible projects • The cities are: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk and now Khanty-Mansiysk • More cities to join the project!

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK THE LOW HANGING FRUITS REFERENCE BOOK vol.1 • Aims to show Russian utilities and industries how energy efficiency projects can be implemented and how projects with the shortest payback time can be planned and prioritized • 11 members of the Energy and Environment Club (Grundfos, Era Power, Ramboll, APV Teplotex, Danfoss, Kamstrup, Per Aarslef, Rockwool, Logstor, Weiss Envikraft and HaldorTopsoe) as well as EKF, NEFCO and State of Green have written articles on energy efficiency • These articles have been collected in our new publication – the Low Hanging Fruits Reference Book • Can bedownloaded on: www.greencapacity.ru

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK THE LOW HANGING FRUITS REFERENCE BOOK vol.2 • August: energy efficiency in buildings in Tomsk and Strezhevoy, modernization of pipes, pumps and meters • September: waste incineration in industrial plants and energy efficiency in buildings of St. Petersburg and Novgorod • Our search for new projects will continue throughout the rest of the year which will amount in a new Low Hanging Fruits Reference Book published in April 2014

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK Collaboration on concreteprojectsBetween: EKF, NEFCO and UNIDO • EKF – The Danish Export Credit Fund • EKF insuresagainst the risk of export and financing on unsecuremarkets • operated on a commercial basis and are guaranteed by the Danish state • NEFCO – Nordic Environment Finance Corporation • NEFCO projects are usually run in partnership with the enterprise that 'owns' the project • NEFCO has financed a wide range of environmental projects in Central and Eastern European countries, including Russia, Belarus and Ukraine • UNIDO – United Nations Industrial Development Organisation • UNIDO is implementing several projects related to cleaner production and energy efficiency in Russia • This is a subject of possible synergies between UNIDO and activities under "Green Capacity" project and "Low Hanging Fruits" initiative

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK NEFCO to offer export credits to Nordic companies • Nefco set up new credit line for financing Nordic deliveries to projects with environmental benefits in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus • The new credit line will be rolled out in close cooperation with the Nordic export credit institutions, which will provide loan guarantees for the projects concerned • In practice, the credit line will offer loan financing for export deliveries worth less than EUR 5 million • The environmental benefits in this credit line arrangement will arise from exports and the installation of energy efficient and environmentally friendly Nordic technology

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK Concreteprojects – Gatchina’sVodokanal • Business agreement on a concrete project is expected to be signed between the Housing committee of Leningrad Oblast and the Danish Export Credit Fund • on the Financing of two concrete projects for renovation of certain parts of GatchinaVodokanal’s water supply pipeline • total investment will be about 32 million roubles (736.000 EUR) with the contribution of the budgets of Leningrad oblast, Gatchina’sVodokanal, the company of Per Aarsleff and EKF as the main financial structure involving the funds NEFCO and NDEP • The realization of this project is expected to be in 2014

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK 20 years on the Russian Market is celebrated with 19 % Growth! • massive growth on the Russian market for district heating of 19 % (Source: Borsen) • Danfoss provides the Russian market with a full range of devices for registration and regulation of the heat consumption, as well as refrigeration equipment and equipment for commercial and industrial applications • With the recent massive growth of 19 % Danfoss seems to have become a well-established company within the Russian heating sector

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK signs an order in Russia for 8.1 million Euros! • Aalborg Engineering has in August 2013 signed a new deal for the delivery of a gas firedpackageboiler of a total value of 8.1 million Euros • The boiler has a capacity of 140 t/h steam and willbe for the Russian fertilizergroupAcron, as part of their new ammonia plant in Veliky Novgorod • Aalborg Engineering will continue their involvement in Russia to close even more deals in the future

UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK 20 years on the Russian market is celebrated with an order in the value of 16.4 million Euros! • In June 2013 HaldorTopsoe A/S and JSC Acron, Russia, signed a contract for supply of proprietary hardware for construction of new 2050 MTPD ammonia plant in Velikiy Novgorod • The total order has a value of approximately 16.4 million Euros • The project is continuation of cooperation between Topsoe and Acron in construction of this ammonia plant • In 2011 Topsoe made the Study of future ammonia plant followed by basic engineering in 2012 • Next step currently under implementation is detailed engineering and supply of critical equipment

  25. UDENRIGSMINISTERIET, MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF DENMARK signs an order in Russia for 1.2 million Euros! • The Danish company Per Aarsleff has been in the Russian market since 1997 through the group subsidiary Per Aarsleff ZAO • Recently Per Aarsleff signed yet another contract with the Russian water and wastewater company PscovVodokanal for the renowation of the water pipelines in Jubilaynaya street next to the Alexander Nevsky bridge in St. Petersburg • This contract is of the value of 1.2 million Euros
