  4. Diamante Poem • A diamante is a seven line poem, shaped like a diamond • It does not have to rhyme • It contains two topics • A diamante poem includes: adjectives, nouns, and gerunds (action verbs)

  5. Prewriting • First stage of writing • Graphic organizers • Brain storming • Choose: • Audience • Purpose • Form • Topic
