  1. Week at a Glance Feb 18 – 26, 2019 Ms. Patricia D. Carter, M.Ed.

Business and Computer Science 7thGrade Students will show mastery of computer application software that encompasses word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation/multimedia, web page, and desktop publishing. Skills will be demonstrated by creating projects. MSBCS-BCSII-4: The student will utilize word processing software. a) Identify uses of word processing software and careers related to word processing. b) Identify and explain word processing terminology. c) Create basic word processing documents related to business and computer science careers. d) Retrieve, edit, manipulate, and print documents.

Word 2: Fundamentals Module Units Formatting Lists, Paragraphs, and Documents - 1 hour est.In this unit, students will learn about: formatting including lists, headers and footers, titles and styles, alignment, and page sizing and orientation. There are interactive check your understanding questions throughout the unit and a required quiz at the end of each unit. These are “formative assessments.”

  10. Assessment There are interactive check your understanding questions throughout each module and a required quiz at the end of each unit. These are “formative assessments.” The Module test must be taken in the classroom with the teacher present. This is a “summative assessment.” Module Test - 1 hour est.In this summative assessment, students will be tested on everything that they have learned in the module.
