Who I am …short bio • Associate professor in Food Science and Technology at UNITE since 2004 (before at University of Udine) • Deputy Rector for Internationalisationand Joint Study Programmes • Expertise in: • food quality and processing, food ingredients and formulation with main focus on the physical, physicochemical, healthy and structural properties of foods and processed foods and flavour release. • Curriculum development, teaching methodologies applied in Food studies • Scientific coordinator of national and international projects also in collaboration with food industry. • Projects on education: since 2005 involved in Erasmus TN project ISEKI_Food projects and FP7 Track_fast project. • Coordinator of the Erasmus TN ISEKI_Food 4 (www.iseki-food4.eu). • Executive Committee Chair of the Int. ISEKI_Food conferences (next 5th ISEKI-Food conference: Stuttgart 5-7 July 2018) • Member of several Scientific and organizing committees of national and international congresses. • - President of the ISEKI-Food Association (www.iseki-food.net) dealing with activities to favour research-education-industry interactions.
