  1. Why these slides? Just after my VCA 6 years ago, my former wife learnt to eat differently. After some years I decided to prepare this kind of dishes despite the consequences of my desease: it was very hard for me to do the shopping, to open the very thin plastic bags and to put vegetables inside, to weigh them and also to find the right button on the electronic scales. I often forgot to buy some ingredients. Back home I had to make some breaks regurlaly when I cut the vegetables because I could not remain concentrated for a short time: every ten minutes I had to stop what I was doing. I do not know how many times vegetables, knives and the peeler fell down on the floor. When my former wife went back home for lunch the meal was not ready yet. She definitively left home with this device called a rice cooker. At the beginning of 2013 I had the reminiscence of this way of cooking so I bought this tool. That is why I am going to show you this recipe. It took me lots of energy but now it is easier for me and I can do it without putting too much « fat onto the tiled floor ». LOL

  7. Here are all the vegetables inside the basket which will be above the one containing the rice and its volume of water precisely defined

  8. Before being cooked in the lower part of the rice cooker the rice must be rinsed six or seven times to remove all the starch and impurities. Water must be clear. 80 grammes of organic semi brown rice

  10. Overview of the rice cooker. The cooking lasts about 15 minutes. The rice and the vegetables will be cooked and ready at the same time.

  11. Once rice, vegetables and salad mixed on the plate, you add olive oil and strong Tamari (soy sauce).
