Activity:Getting Acquainted • Use one word to describe your favorite leader. • Introduce self to 4 people you don’t know by saying your name and sharingthe descriptive word of your favorite leader. • Create groups of 4, sharedescriptions, discuss what descriptions are missing from the group. Postdescriptions on flip chart. • Share descriptions with the full group.

Activity:A Bit of Reflection • Close your eyes, reflecton your definition ofLEADERSHIP - Writeyour definition on a sticky note - Look at your definition: Does it include: - A person in a position? - Traits of leadership (e.g., interacting with people, “walking the talk”)? - Power, drive, influence, action?
