Well hello i am glad you are here come closer so i can speak in your ear my name is lorax

His name was Dr. Seuss

Some called him the mother goose.

He was born in 1904,

With German ancestry in his core!

He graduated from Dartmouth college,

And gained plenty of writing knowledge.

However writing wasn’t his only gismo

During WWII he made political cartoons whimsical.

But that is not the Dr. Seuss most of us know and love.

This man is the one who wrote all the children’s books above!

“And will you succeed? Yes you will indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)”

Not only are all his books fun,

they have morals behind all the pun.

Making his quotes relatable,

and quite simply unforgettable.

“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

“If you never did you should. These things are fun, and fun is good.”

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

“Think and wonder, wonder and think.”

“Oh, the thinks you can think!”

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

Oh! These are my favorite!

Then pick up a Dr. Seuss book,

Or give a couple of these websites a look!

Enjoy! And remember ““If you never did you should.

These things are fun, and fun is good.”
