  11. Research • P&S scientists: • Bring in millions of sponsored research dollars each year as Principal Investigators • Partner with faculty researchers in many departments • Support ISU research infrastructure

  12. Teaching & Learning • Approximately 80 P&S staff are also non-tenure track faculty, down from 140 in 2002*. • 60% teaching • 11% graduate committee work • 9% research • 20% other – rank only, advising, etc. • Training by P&S staff in many other areas *2002 ProvostOfficeSurvey
