  3. Clayton Cox “The Teacher” • The Technology Education program at Ste. Genevieve High School is a unique learning opportunity. Technology Education classes are quite relevant to a wide variety of career opportunities and academic disciplines. Some college prep students take these classes as electives, while some of our soon to be tech prep students take them as a career track. One group that seems to benefit most is the students that are seeking both education as well as interest. Back To Link

Genevieve, Mo: (2003-2006) Taught High School Technology Education (9-12 grades) • Cape Girardeau Public Schools, 301 N Clark Cape Girardeau, Mo, And Jackson Public Schools: (2003) Student Taught for additional experience (16 weeks) • Cape Girardeau Public Schools, 310 N Clark Cape Girardeau, Mo: (2001 - 2003) • Substitute Taught (see letter of recommendation) • C&C Construction, Saint Genevieve Mo.: Contractor (2000 - 2006) • Owns and Operates Construction Business • Hoods Countertop Shop, Farmington Mo: Cabinet Maker (1999 - 2000) • Built Cabinets from Start to finish • Proffers Whole Sale, Park Hills Mo: Dock Managers (1996 – 1999) • Loaded and unloaded trucks Back To Link

Clayton’s Activities & Honors: • *I have competed in many VICA activities • *Missouri State Craftsman Fairs, in which I have placed in many • *Deans List through out my education • *Rewarded with recognition by having my biography published in the 25th Annual Edition of The National Dean’s List • *Earned Academic Distinction in my major • *Preferred teaching list for two years • *Competed and placed in many Antique Car Shows • *Competed and placed in many Engineering Competitions Back To Link

  6. Clayton’s Skills • *I know and use many useful teaching strategies. I can also run and manage a classroom very well. During my job at Saint Genevieve High School, I received 7 different classes’s to prep. (Architectural Drawing, Computer Aided Drafting, Metal Technology, Small Gas Engines, Residential Wiring, Engineering Graphics, and Independent Study). • *Grant Writing, ( At Ste. Gen. High School I wrote a vocational Grant that enabled are school to receive over $100,000 thousand dollars in federal money) • * Excellent craftsman (6 years as a contractor, learning and using various construction skills) • *Mig, Tig, and Arc Weld as well (two years of education) • *During my job as a Dock Manager I learned how to communicate with others, and do various other dock related skills • *Build/design doors, cabinets, and counter tops  • *Website design Skills (I have designed a very successful class website for my students and colleagues at Ste.
