  2. The Indiana State Rex Rabbit Breeders Association has been around for over 30 years and is just getting better. Last Sponsored Rex Nationals in 1983. Funds from that show that will be used for this show. Sponsored 1st specialty show in several years with 90+ rabbits entered. Has brought Rex to be a top 10 breed in the state of Indiana within the last 3 years. Club is alive and growing with the 2008 ARBA Youth Rex BOB Breeder and two top 10 Youth Rex breeders. Typically, $45 one way. • Several car rental companies are located at the airport. • From hotels to showroom. • Automotive transportation will be needed to get from any of the hotels to the showroom which is 3 miles away.

  8. Showroom • Boone County Sheep Building • 60x100 showroom floor. • Newly Built in 2009. • 100% air exchange 6x per hour. • Paved parking near all entry doors. • Insulated drop ceiling to keep building cooler.

National Show • Proposed dates are April 29 to May 1st ,2011. • Entry fees:$7 per head + $3 fur. • Coops will be same size or larger than the ARBA Convention coops (21x21). • Show software still to be determined. • Judges with Submitted bids: Ronn Mauck, Josh Humphries, Willis Plank, Glenn Carr, Rusty Westhoff.

  10. National Show • Open BOB & BOS award will be custom wine basket and engraved glasses. • Open BOV & BOSV award will be a custom bottle of wine. • Youth BOB & BOS award will be a large custom stain glass sun catcher with Rex logo. • Youth BOV & BOSV award will be a smaller custom stain glass sun catcher with Rex logo.

  11. Sunday Specialty • Rex Open and Youth show. • Fees $3 per head; $1.50 for fur. • $30 BOB and $20 BOS cash award. • $15 Best Color and White Fur cash award. • $3 BOV and $1 BOSV • An “All Other Variety” fun class.

  12. Banquet • Details to follow. • May be catered at fairgrounds or held at local banquet facility close to hotels. • Cost will be at the most of $15/Adult & $10/12 and Under. The goal is to make this affordable, filling and fun.
