  1. Metron CDM Tool Status December 13, 2000 Metron Inc.

  2. FSM • FSM 1.8.1 will be deployed in March 2001. • Simplified Substitution • Departure Fix • Pop-up compression algorithm modification • FSM 1.8.1 will have ADL format change • Warning: All FSM users must switch over to this version. • FSM 1.8.1 will be released to airlines in Feb 2001 for testing. • FSM Quarterly training in 1st 2001 QTR is TBD. • FSM training package will be available in Feb 2001. • “What’s new in FSM 1.8.1” session at next CDM meeting? • GDP weekly summary will not contain “Comments”.

  3. FSA • Real-time FSA training is scheduled in January 2001. Deployment will follow. • Real-time GDP monitoring tool. • Post analysis FSA is underway. • Completed various analysis functions such as pop-up trend, compliance trend, monitoring of spurious ETE modification, timed-out delay trend, delay history display, ETE estimate accuracy, etc. • Working on slot usage analysis, performance trend analysis, timed-out CNX trend analysis capabilities.

  4. ADC • ADC 3.0 is in acceptance testing. • Arrival and departure data. • GDP parameters. • Help menu. • ADC 3.1 is underway to work with ETMS 7.2. • Departure fix information.

  5. CDR • CDR 1.1 will be delivered to the ATCSCC in mid Dec 2000. Will be deplored on Jan 25, 2001. • CDR 1.1 will have: • Graphical display capability • Airway intersections Table • Additional DB from NFDC • CDR autoupdate capability • Future version will provide MIT restriction and HVR database from the National Logs Project.

  6. POET • POET 1.4 available. • Significant performance improvement by POET preprocessor. • Enhanced search script (i.e., canned POET searches) • POET training will be provided. • Near real-time POET database is underway.

  7. Analysis completed in 2000 • Airport arrival under-delivery project - phase 1 • Long-haul flight reroute study • Pop-up flights analysis • J547 offload study • IAD arrivals and complexity • EWR-JFK test reroutes • ZOB sector 48/49 follow-on analysis • DC metro arrivals study • Delaware rocket launch impact study • ETE-based airborne holding model • Time/mileage-based GDP study • Data quality/product verification tests
