Protection of whistleblowers of corruption One of the main challenges in the fight against corruption is to "being active" citizens to report instances when they are victims or witnesses of acts of corruption If we refer to the Global Corruption Barometer shows that our country: Reasons why would not report such a case of corruption? a-I do not know where to denounce 23% b-I fear the consequences 26% c-Will not bring any change 50% d-Other reasons 1% 2. The right of Information State institutions must provide information in a timely and comprehensively for citizens. Willingness to provide information of public administration increases their accountability in service to citizens.

Their use is a genuine indication of the willingness of citizens to question the phenomenon, as well as an indicator for the success of anti-corruption efforts of the local government. 4. Public Awareness Public awareness is a very important aspect for his involvement in the fight against corruption.
