Day One-Fundamental Day • Stretch 5 minutes • Cals 5 minutes • Town Square: Stance fundamentals 45 Minutes • Water/talk 5 minutes • Split into 4 stations 45 minutes • Back station • Hand off drills • First step drills • Sweep drill • Passing Station • No routes just short stuff • Hold hands • Make cuts • Release from LB’s We will go into four stations everyday.   22. Box DRILL 5-3 Line play is about 2 gap control: using the OL in one gap and you in the other. The Box drill is the best teacher of this and is an everyday drill Starting positions V V V V V V V V Desired Position D line goal is to Jam OL into back half of hole 1 yard deep, arms extended, maintaining outside control, eyes in backfield and shoulders square. This is you base D line play. Let the play go for 30-40 seconds, let them fight for control. EYS MUST STAY IN BACKFIELD
