  1. Lamp twinkle effect

  2. Read this tutorial and see how to design lamp using the flash tools for drawing  and after that how to create a lamp twinkle using some special flash tips and tricks.

  3. You don't have to use action script code to make this tutorial. You can use this effect for some flash header, animation in flash...

  4. Step 1 • Create a new flash document, choose Modify > Document (Ctrl+J), and set Width to 200 and Height to 270px. Frame rate set to 40fps (Fremes per Second) and press ok.

  5. Step 2 • Take the Line Tool (N), and draw this:

  6. Then, draw this:

  7. Step 3 Now, we have the "head" of lamp. It's time for body, so draw this:

  8. Step 4 • Take the Paint Bucket Tool (K), under Fill color choose Black and paint the lamp like it is shown on the picture below.

  9. Step 5 Under Background Color set this color: #2A313A. See the picture below.

  10. Step 6 • Take the Paint Bucket Tool (K), under Fill color set white color and paint the part of lamp like it is shown on the picture below.

  11. Step 7 • After that, select that part of lamp, press Ctrl+X on the keyboard (Cut), insert a new layer, select it and press Ctrl+Shift+V (Paste in Place).

  12. Step 8 • Lock layer 1, select layer 2 and press F8 on the keyboard (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip.

  13. Step 9 Then press F6 (keyframe) ten times. Look at the picture below!

  14. Step 10 • Click on every second frame, select the Movie Clip ("light"), open the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3), under Color choose Alpha and set it to 42%.

  15. Step 11 • Insert a new layer, take the Brush Tool (B), under Fill Color choose white, and draw the "shape" on the position and like it is shown on the picture below.

  16. Step 12 While your "shape" is still selected, press F8 on the keyboard to convert it into a Movie Clip. Then, in Properties Panel select the Filters, click on plus icon and choose Blur. 

  17. Step 13 • After that, set the options from the picture below.

  18. Step 14 • Repeat steps 9 and 10, but for this time, set Alph to 65%.
