  4. Population growth • World population is increasing in spite of : -Decline in fertility -HIV/AIDS -Wars -famine -plague

  5. Where ? • World’s less developed nations, Africa,Asia,Latin America • World’s population growth----- 96% • World’s Births-----90% • World’s Deaths-----77% • Global natural inc (#births - #deaths) -----99%
