  3. Richard • Richard wasn’t nice to everybody.

  4. Author’s Purpose • Richard ate three pieces of candy corn. He cheated by looking at the number on the bottom of the jar. He told Matthew that he ate three pieces of the candy corn. Richard learned that he shouldn't cheat any more. I learned not to ever cheat or I would get in trouble.

  5. Book Recommendation • I think my friend should read this book because it is fun to read.
