We adopted purposive sampling method during the interview. We targeted 25 people with disabilities and the remaining 75 was the non – disable population. But during the interviews we come across people whom we thought did not have disabilities but during the interview they reported to have some form disabilities notably seeing difficulty.
The respondents were cooperative, but most of them reported that questions of this nature, it is only the individual concerned who can answer it correctly, that being the case they are afraid that most the responses we will be getting will be Don’t Know for the proxy questions or I think. Some of the respondents with disabilities reported that, they hope after this survey something will be done to improve their livelihoods, as they have been interviewed over and over and they have not seen anything.
