  2. There is a rectangle • That bears three colors • It is an emblem of freedom • And is embraced during good times • And bad times alike • The sky-lifter raises it, full of pride • And it attracts attention nationwide • A recognized symbol nearly around the world • The icon represents well-deserved achievements • And the hardships we've all had to endure, united

  3. Crinkle crinkle i will go • through the air to a fro • wood pulp I am, I am wood pulp • folded so delicately rectangle, rectangle • I am of a darker hue • hue hue -- hue hue • my belly-contents what you desire • folded over, folded under • a name written across my breast • delve deep within me • my belly-contents becomes yours

  4. I am farfrom the point and sometimes not even on the same thing. At the end of the day,I’ve been constantly rubbed and from friction I’ve been worn down. Sacrificingmy life for the mistakes that others have made, my life isn’t the best. Istarted out in a factory. I was made from the sap of a very special tree. Thiswhite sap was then transformed through a very long process into what I am now. After all of that, I was packaged up and shipped all over the world so peoplecould abuse me and rub me down to shavings. If only something else could bemade to help people fix their mistakes, there would never be a reason for me inthe first place. A device that you could use, but never ever fix or get rid ofwhat it has done would be great. If only everyone could use such a thing myhead would no longer hurt. I would never be constantly rubbed, and I wouldnever ever wear down.

  5. My position in this world is often overlooked • However, if you lose me you will want to replace me • I am at the core of man's coverings • I work hard to hold together my home • It is your choice if we are closed or stay open • We are not completely independent • The threads of life bind us to our work • Without them, we would be lost • When a small man approaches, my job is strenuous • If the man is too large, though, my work is useless • Don't forget to use me, or you may look like a fool

  6. Every color of the rainbow • The smell of kindergarten • Mold it into shapes • Mom gets mad when you mix the colors • And when you drop it on the carpet • Owns the factory of fun • And takes whatever shape you please • Used in "house of scholars" or at your house • Soft and malleable • But It will harden when it's dry

  7. You've had it ever since you were young,  • It takes time and patience;  • It increases as you age • As years go by it becomes more difficult  • It has problems to be answered  • In the beginning it's fun • At the end it's a pain • Many excuses have been used • Whether they are true or false  • Procrastination is not the key; • However, time-completness is.

  8. It is forever in play • Indoor, or outdoor, one can never say • As white as snow, or as colorful as a rainbow • When it’s in use, it’s sure to be a show • It is constantly violated • Hit around with its users’ might • The spike-machine is destined for glory when it is in flight • It bring joy to its victors •                                                                                                        and sorrows to the rest •                                                                                              Years of preparation will handle it the best

  9. A creature of mysterious origins • Enters our world by exiting another • Unappreciated, unwanted, and abandoned • No man nor animal likes to have it around • A neccessary evil, it really is • Only aknowledged when it siezes to exist • Without it, sickly we'd be • But we would be just as bad with too much of it • From a royal throne, man now guides it • We send it away with a flick of a waterfall trigger.

  10. Looking down to all, and up to none, • This animal is the most condescending creature to walk the earth. • It has it’s chin up high, higher than the rest. • It’s head is always in the clouds. • This creature only eats from it own personal source of food. • It consumes the top of leaf growers, no other animal is capable of doing so. • Do to its elegant stride and unique shape, sometimes it appears to be walking on stilts. • Its two horns protruding from its head are misleading, for this creature is peaceful by nature. • It is lucky that winter does not fall where this animal lives, • because it would be hard to find a scarf large enough for its neck.

  11. They are the same in all but just one feature • A single strip of face-forest is the only separator • Neither wit nor appearance differentiates the two • Together they are one, separate they are two • From the same source, they both come from • And in the same place they both make their home • While one lets out a bellowing growl • The other stands silently, face painted with a scowl • Their souls dark as the music they adore • Black is the only color they know for sure

  12. So many emotions • Wrapped into two clock-ticks • You can only see, not feel • Sometimes it may seem real • Watch as you please • It will not go anywhere • The purpose is to please • Not always to inform • With the faces and the places and the lessons • When it is done • You go back to previous times

  13. Look closely at a world where businessmen work • Notice the precision and order as the workers go • Harmony and teamwork get the job done • These blue-collar coworkers specialize in their jobs • Roaming from state to state in search of the resources • In order to collect items to bring to the Boss • The Boss, she sits and inspects the workers to help with productivity • The businessman works and slaves all day only to have people come and steal the product away • The golden product is so sweet and lovely to smell until goldstealers come who are greedy and want to sell • No matter how much this businessman tries the wounds he gives the intruders to try and protect what he has done, they do not hurt for a while • Back to work these employees go • Ready to make more and watch their company grow

  14. On a dark-canvas is a • bright stroke of gold. Blink • and you’ll miss it. It’s damaging • and beautiful, the weapon of a • God. It is joined by its loud sister, • who follows obediently every time. • Angels cry at its beauty, a sheet • of tears falling around it. In • it’s wake lay destruction, and • the world falls quiet and calm.

  15. A copy of Britain is what I am said, • A memory to all of the land that I spread. • Red is my friend from here to thy end, • I speak of its hardness, its valor, and its special mend. • Then there is white, so mighty, so pure. • The innocence behind it forever endured. • I speak of the blue, • Its viglance and justice. • I am a country unifier, • A spirit provider, • A material sheet, • To whom many speak.

  16. he historical knowledge, • > teachin silently. • > The omnipotent viewer of the world. • > The historyword, • > assembled by many based on fact. • > Every country documented, • > and every time told. • > Tells of Shakespeare and Martin Luther, • > significant events, • > shared with us by word.

  17. A creature that comes in all different sizes. • They roam around, but eyes may be watching. • Their funny disposition makes you want to take it home. • They use each other as their brush and comb. • Together in a community, family comes first. • Don’t upset them, they have a short fuse. • In a fight, you are sure to lose. • Watch them do things that you did not seem possible. • Their intelligence shows our relation, • The human-wannabe could be named Mason.

  18. The bright sign of life • From high in the sky. • Held only by a strip of delicate life. • Colors of one, then of many, • When darkness comes • And the breath-gust of the world • Swings it by and by. • The articulate veins to be simply split • Only to glide, swiftly, swaying, • Sailing quickly away.

  19. This creature that bears sweetness, • is a tiny one indeed. • The female is dominant, • the males don't succeed. • Its colors are ones that don't go together, • an extreme contrast that makes it stand out. • Its aerial-gate is packed to the brim, • with busy workers working within. • The way it moves is in a natural rhythm. • Gliding around, making stops, • until the job is done.

  20. It's flat • You use it everyday • It touches your foot-gloves • Sometimes people paint on it • It has holes • It ruins little critters homes • It is the setting of many deaths • And lots of bloodshed • Some countries can't afford it • If you hit your head on it • It would hurt

  21. This thin is unseen if you are not looking • Yet easily recognized when it stands alone • Possessing this could lead to uncovering your innermost wishes • As it is the envy if people cannot obtain it • It stays in one place until it is found • And blows in the west-wind's-whisper • If never found it waits for its cold-death each year • Becoming anew during the rebirth-period it shows itself to the world • North, south, east, west • You may need luck to figure out what this thing is.
