  1. For most patients, only local anesthetic is needed during surgery. We provide differing levels of sedation based on your needs. Once the area is fully numb, we use the custom physical guide to aid in surgically placing the dental implant post into the correct position in your jaw. This area is allowed to heal anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months.
