Homework – Write a paragraph or more defending your postion on jury duty. Don’t forget to study for the Vocabulary 20 on Friday.

  • We can all think of examples of justice gone wrong; however, is our legal system working as well as it can in your opinion?
  • What did Mary have for dinner?
  • Grotty – shabby, inferior.

Goals – Continue 12 Angry Men. Discuss the issues raised about our justice system by the types of jurors represented. Discuss the weaknesses of the jury system.

Homework – Write a paragraph about constitutional rights that are endangered by biased jurors.

Goals – Discuss objectivity and subjectivity. Clarify understanding of legal terminology.

Homework – Read the web page I showed you in class today. Write a brief analysis of the data. Use text based evidence to support your analysis.
