  2. Example • Describe one or two hobbies you enjoy when you are not in school. I love to cook for my family and exercise. • What are your plans for the 13th grade, and how are you preparing for this. I had always planned to teach, but I ended up doing several other things first (welding, military, editing/writing). UMASS, B.A. GMU, M.Ed.

  3. Example • Describe the quiet place where you do homework. I do work in my classroom, or at the dining room table when nobody else is home. • What was the last non-school related book you read, and why did you read it? “Double Down, ” which was about the 2012 Presidential Election.

  4. Example • Is there something about you that others in this class know but that I don’t know? Before applying for this job, I had never heard the words “Kitsap” or “Poulsbo” before. • Who do you admire? Why?
