  2. 14RPT02 AWICal Project goals • Development of calibration methods and measurement uncertainty evaluation models for different groups of AWIs, which operate in a dynamic mode. • Increase of expertise among EURAMET members in the provision of reliable traceability of automatic weighing instruments

  3. AWIs taken into account • Automatic Catchweighers (ACI) • Automatic Gravimetric Filling Instruments (AGFI) • Automatic Instruments for Weighing Road Vehicles in Motion (WIM)

  4. Work Package 1 • Development of calibration methods, uncertainty budgets and calibration guides • Activity leaders: MIRS for ACI, GUM for WIM, UME for AGFI • Deadlines: • Calibration methods: May 2016 • Uncertainty budgets: August 2016 • Draft calibration guides (ready for further procedure within EURAMET): February 2018

Work Package 2 • Validation of calibration methods and uncertainty budget • Activity leaders: PTB for ACI, CMI for WIM, UME for AGFI • Time schedule: • Validation of methods and uncertainty budget:May 2016 – March 2017 • Interlaboratory comparison: Dec 2016 - Sep 2017 • In cooperation with collaborators from industry.
