  1. How To Find Substitute Ink Absorber For HP Printer?

  2. HP Printers consist of ink absorber pad that helps the machine to soaks up excess amount of ink from the print cartridges. It prevents smudge printing and keeps the cartridge free of dried ink. HP is indeed a great printing machine that actively monitors the waste ink absorber pads and shows an error message when the pads are full of ink.

  3. To substitute the ink absorber, you don’t need to visit service center. Just follow these simple steps and you’re done! • First of all, open your HP printer to start the process of installing new cartridges. Move the cartridge cradle to the center of the printing unit and unplug the printing machine so that cartridges remain stable in their position. • Find the waste ink absorbers in their black rubber frame. It might be located underneath the area where the cartridges rest when the printing machine is in standby mode.

  4. Now, take a tissue paper or other disposable absorbent item which can soap up any excess ink that may be in pads by forcing it downside onto the top of the frame. • Wear rubber gloves on your hands and pull the rubber frame from the printing machine. Also, withdraw the ink absorber pad or pads from the rubber frame. • Once this is done, insert new ink absorber pads firmly into the rubber frame. Substitute the rubber frame in it original position and close the printer.

  5. Press the power button of the HP machine and then plug in it. Continue pressing the power button until the printer starts to reset itself and come online. • Wait until the green power light is turned off, then hold and release the power button again. When you see that the light is blinking two to three times then it means that the printer has been reset and is geared up to print the documents without any error.

  6. Give a test print to check the results. If the result is good then you are done. And, if not then there may be some internal issue with your printer.
