  1. Saving Reports to PDF Press F5 to maximise this presentation

  2. Access reports can be ‘printed’ to a PDF file in order to distribute them professionally to others. This demonstration goes through the process of saving a report such as the one displayed as a .pdf.

  3. The open report needs to be ‘printed’ in order to create the PDF. Select ‘Print’ from the ‘File’ menu.

  4. Select the PDF printer installed on your computer. In the case above it is ‘CutePDF Writer’ however others are available. If you do not have a PDF printer installed you will need to contact your support desk.

  5. The PDF file can be configured like any other printer. When you are ready to print click ‘OK’

  6. Rather than the report appearing as a piece of paper at your printer the ‘Save As’ dialog will appear. Select a desired folder location and appropriate file name and click ‘Save’

  7. Open the chosen folder location to find your new PDF file. This file can now be attached to an email or posted to a web site as required.
