They feared god but they did not fear god2

They “Feared God”…But They Did Not Fear God

  • 2 Kings 17:34-35 To this day they continue practicing the former rituals; they do not fear the LORD, nor do they follow their statutes or their ordinances, or the law and commandment which the LORD had commanded the children of Jacob, whom He named Israel... "You shall not fear other gods, nor bow down to them nor serve them nor sacrifice to them.”

But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God. (NKJV)

  • (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. (NKJV)

No fear for those who love the lord

No Fear For Those Who Love the Lord

  • (1 John 4:16-18) And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (NKJV)
