  2. Activity 1, Page 118 In this activity, the learners need to find examples of different type of websites. They have to type their findings in Word. You can get them to structure their document using tables or just with headings. This is an informal assessment. You can discuss their findings in class or they can get into groups of 2 and discuss their findings.

  3. Written module activity, Page 124 1. An ISP is a company that has a permanent, fast connection to the Internet. Examples of South African ISPs: MWEB, TelkomSA, MTN and Internet Solutions 2. a) They would use a web browser, as the URL is known. A web page is any electronic page on the Web. A website is a collection of web pages and a home page is the first page of a website. 4. Information from the internet must be summarised in your own words – making small ‘cosmetic’ changes is not enough to avoid committing plagiarism.
