Warm Homes Fund • aims to provide funding for renewable energy projects (including district heating) to support communities in fuel poverty • funding will be made available to any scheme which demonstrates it is targeted to a fuel poor area and will reduce fuel poverty within that community. • additional funding support can come from a range of sources including ECO, and projects funded through the HEEP’s area based Programme

  3. WHF Funding • £50M overall • £18.75M this year • £29M next year • development grants • up to £5M (unsecured) loans

  4. WHF Eligibility • Local Authorities • RSL’s • Non Profit ESCO’s set up by LA/HA • Partnerships (led by LA or HA)

  5. WHF Technologies (all FIT & RHI eligible technologies – including) • Renewables district heating • Wind Turbines • Hydro • PV • Solar Thermal
