  3. After hours access for computer labs or lounges http://intranet.monash.edu.au/esolutions/students/lab Registration can take up to 3 working days to process before you can access the lab after hours.

  6. Lab setup • Log in with your Monash username and password • My documents is synced across labs and library • 5Gb storage

  7. Software downloads for students • Monash provides some free software downloads for students • http://intranet.monash.edu.au/esolutions/software/catalogue/index.html • Some available software: • Microsoft security essentials • Endnote • Nvivo • SAS • http://www.itsnotcheating.com

  8. Connecting to Monash Wireless • Eduroam? • Pop-up box will appear, enter in the username space: username@monash.edu.au and your password Wireless printing? • Yep! Visit: https://printers.monash.edu.au

  9. Google Apps! • 25Gb storage • Ability to forward emails to a personal account • other useful tools: • Google Docs, Calender, Drive... • HDR Students are also eligible for a Staff-like computer account

  10. Submitting an online request • IT related queries can be submitted via Service Desk Online: https://servicedeskonline.monash.edu/

  11. Change your password every 6 months • Authcate passwords expire every six months. • Restrictions mentioned on change password site: • -Eg: m0na5hun1

  12. Password changes • Set a personal identification word (PIW) • Via my.monash portal • PIW not working? Contact an eSolutions Client Services Officer for a password reset.
