Course learning outcomes • Learn to understand basic legal terminology and concepts • Learn how to evaluate issues of legal significance in business transactions. • Apply legal reasoning to situations and form legal conclusions. • Compare and apply various legal theories/interpretations to factual situations.

  4. Course learning outcomes • Learn how to issue spot, weigh, and analyze risks, and gain a sense of comfort and familiarity with the legal system.

  5. Learning Strategies • Lecture • Cases • Homeworks • Exams

  6. Course Assessment • Attendance, Participation, Homework, Quizzes 30% • Mid-term exam 20% • Final exam 50%

  7. Exams • The two exams (midterm and final exam) will cover lecture material, textbook readings, class discussions, and homework assignments. • On the end of each Chapter we will have short quizzes that consist of multiple choice questions.

  8. CLASS RULES • Be respectful to each other and to the instructor, to the room, and to all materials. • No talking while someone else is talking. • Bring all required material to class. • No eating or drinking in the classroom. • Follow all other University rules.
