  4. What did we record? • Planted Trees • Planting type • Species • Spread risk • Coning • Fringe spread • Outlier Trees • Stem spacing • Species • Coning • Height • Surrounding veg • Downwind veg

  5. Hectares with wilding tree presence • 80,493 hectares affected with wilding spread • 3.4% of survey area (2,400,935 ha) • 2008-2013 • Increase from 2.7% (2,330,906 ha) • 1998-2003

  6. Number of sites with fringe spread • Initial survey - 23% of 765 sites with fringe spread • Recent resurvey - 40% of 763 sites with fringe spread • Increase of 17% in 10 years
