  4. 0 Goal 2: Provide Basic and Applied Research(2010 Plan for Excellence) • By 2010 annual research expenditures will have increased by 50% • To increase the amount of annual research funding • To develop an incentive system for faculty research • To promote interdisciplinary research groups • To identify opportunities for addressing campus and community TSU Retreat
