2. Step 1 –think it! • People’s phones burn up in the sun, and they over heat and shut down. They will burn up and get too hot, and you can’t touch it. So, you would have to find a cold spot for it to cool down and wait for the heat to go away.

3. Step 2 – Explore it! • You can cool down a phone by putting in a refrigerator. • You can put it in front of a fan and let it cool. • You can blow on it to cool it. • You can put it in the shade to let it cool. • You can place it in a cooler that has ice in it, and that would cool down the phone.

6. Step 4 – create it! • My idea was to get a phone case and put equipment in it to make it better. I would like to create a case that keep the phone cool and keep it from over heating even when it has been left in a hot environment, like on a hot sidewalk or in a hot car.

7. Step 5 – try it! • We tried to use a real cell phone case, but it was too small, and we could not do all of the electric wiring. • We had to try and make it bigger so we could find things that would fit and make it work.

8. Step 6 – tweak it! • We took a picture box and made a model of a cell phone case. • When the phone gets to hot cold air is sprayed out of the air cans. • The cold air cools down the inside of the case and the insulation in the case keeps it cool longer.

9. Step 7 – sell it!
