Once you have followed the links and read the information, enter a ‘Y’ in each box and click GO. You will not be able to proceed until you have entered a ‘Y’ for each box.

  4. The “MESSAGES” screen contains important messages specific to the type(s) of aid you have been offered. This screen also indicates if you have been offered any aid which requires you to accept or decline it and if so, the deadline for doing so. If you do not accept or decline the aid offered, OSFA will email you several reminder emails before cancelling the aid. Federal Direct Loans which are cancelled now CAN be reinstated later. Other aid requiring acceptance CANNOT be reinstated due to limited funds.

The “AMT YOU ACCEPT” cannot exceed the “Total” amount offered but can range from 0 to the “Total” amount offered.

  7. For each type of aid requiring your confirmation, you must enter an “AMT YOU ACCEPT”. Enter 0 if you do not wish to accept this type of aid. You may also read more information about the type of aid being offered.
