  3. Gary L. Salach Foundation Scholarship • At least a B average • Leadership • Service • Commitment to the school community • Participated in at least one varsity sport • Recipient: Bryan Bu

Book Grant Scholarships • Full-time enrollment in post-secondary educational institution • Financial assistance • 16 students out of a total of 36 chose to be announced: • Recipients: Brianna Abatangelo, Nour Atieh, Jordan Dillard, Erik Hubscher, Matthew Lindsey, Paul Loss, Maria Martino, Ryan McCaleb, Mary Somerfield, Ryan Somerfield, Julia Tabaczyk, Molly Thomas, Raphael Tursky, Rolandas Urbstonaitis, Shownyea Walls and Rickey Williams

  10. Rick Jasker Kiwanis Key Club Award • A Key Club graduating member who is going on to college • Scholastic achievements • Volunteering and community service • Strong leadership skills • Recipient: Rajan Khanna

  11. Hinsdale Masonic Lodge #934 Scholarship • A student of average academic standing who is of high character and moral standards • Has good parental support • Major financial assistance • Involved in scouting or a leadership program • Demonstrate a desire to make our world a better place Recipient: Ryan Somerfield

  12. Woman’s Club of Hinsdale Scholarship • A female graduate • Planning to enter a degree program in an accredited college or university • Recipient: Veronice Peterson

  13. Booster Club Scholarships • Exhibit active involvement in the total school environment • Participation in extra-curricular activities • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher • School spirit • Recipients: Brian Bu, Jeremy Cai and Sean Whelan • 14

Hinsdale Rotary Club Scholarships • Leadership/Service • Active involvement • Service activities • Academic success within this leadership/service • Commitment • GPA that increases over the course of studies at Hinsdale Central • Recipients: Joshua Delson, Emma Jerzyk, Paul Loss, Megan Ryan and Lindsey Thiesfeld

American Association of University Women Scholarships • Live in the District 86 area • Maintain a weighted GPA greater than 4.5 (through Junior year)  • Qualifications:  academics, volunteerism, school activities, work history • Future academic plans • Recipients: Emma Harrison, Emma Jerzyk, Lindsey Thiesfeld and Lucy Wang

Westmont Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation • Must live in Westmont or be a Westmont Chamber family member • Maintain a minimum 2.75 grade point average • Be or have been actively involved in school and/or extra curricular activities in the community or work force • Plan to attend an accredited university, college or trade school within six months of graduation • Recipient: SagarDommaraju

  33. Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Memorial Scholarship • Graduating senior with a GPA of 3.0 (un-weighted) • Plans to post secondary education at an accredited institution • Participated for at least three years in a school sponsored athletic program • Recipient: John Girard

Tom Moen Memorial Scholarships • A varsity football player who participated in the Falcon football program • Good sportsmanship • Citizenship • Involvement in extra-curricular activities • Community service outside of sports • Academic achievement • Financial assistance • Recipients: Kevin Kiyosaki and Christopher Miller

  35. Kevin C. Kerekes Memorial Scholarships • Participate in cross-country and/or track • Achieve minimum 4.0 GPA • Exemplify team spirit • Display high standards and moral conduct • Demonstrate financial assistance • Recipients: Ryan Somerfield and Rebecca Ventura

  37. Chick Evans Memorial Scholarship • Caddies must be nominated by their club and meet four requirements: • Strong caddie record • Excellent academics • Demonstrated financial assistance • Outstanding character • Recipient: Benjamin Klein

  38. Jordan Crist Memorial Scholarship • Displays the spirit that Jordan had toward his teammates (support, empathy, leadership, mentorship) • Recipient is to be determined at a later date • 34

  39. SMU Jordan Crist Memorial Scholarship • Awarded to a senior student who has been accepted into SMU • Selected by SMU • Recipient: Sarah Renehan

  40. Gunnar Hotchkin Memorial Scholarship • Determination to improve and achieve personal goals • Displays actions that reach out in friendship to others who may have disabilities or differences • Positive attitude and fun-loving spirit Recipient: Eric Thiel

  41. Paramount Tall Club of Chicago • Student must meet their minimum height requirement of 5’ 10” for females and 6’ 2” for males • Plan to attend either a 2-year or 4-year college • Recipient: Cara Tenerelli

  42. Helen O’Neil Memorial Scholarship • Student employed by Hinsdale Public Library • Recommended by his/her supervisor • Will be attending college in the Fall • Recipient: Zachary Manta

  43. Hinsdale Central Varsity Club Scholarship • Member of the Varsity Club • School spirit • Leadership qualities • Demonstrate the six pillars of character including respect, trustworthiness, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship • Recipient: Margaret Richter

  44. Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship • 200 hours of service as a junior volunteer at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and be pursuing the health care field • 3.0 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale or a 4.0 G.P.A. based on a 5.0 scale • Community service and leadership qualities • Recipient: Juwairyah Syed

  45. The Rodney Stuart Kroehler-Peter Winston Friend Awards • The male and female members of the graduating class deemed most outstanding in the opinion of the directors • Academic achievement • Extra-curricular activities • Community service • Leadership • Character • Recipients: Bryan Bu and Veronica Peterson

  46. Hinsdale Central Scholarship Fund • Established to provide funds for assisting our graduating seniors with their college or other post-high school educational funds is key for this scholarship • Recipients: Mary Somerfield and Ryan Somerfield

  47. Senior Honor Medal • Given to the senior whose contributions to Hinsdale Central High School have enriched the student body and community • Whose qualities of character, leadership, and service have made Hinsdale Central High School a better school • Recipient: Jill Pocius

  48. National Guard • Be a United States citizen or permanent resident • Have a high school diploma or be near graduation • Meet medical and moral requirements • Recipient: Justin Johnson

  49. United States Army ROTC Scholarship • Student must have a meritorious record in academic studies, extra-curricular participation and athletic activities • Must have demonstrated exceptional leadership potential, as well as an expressed desire to serve in the United States Army • Recipient: George Tolbert

  50. United States NavyROTCScholarship • Acceptance to a four-year college or university • SAT scores: 530 verbal/520 math • ACT scores: 21 math/22 English, or graduate in the top 10% of your high school class • U.S. citizenship • Passing score on the Navy physical • Recipient: George Relias
