  1. RA-2/MWR CCVT readiness status • RA-2/MWR CCVT Rehearsal requirements: • It is recommended that the rehearsal focus on the "subscription" data distribution feature rather than the USF, as the former will be more heavily used in the commissioning phase. • It is envisaged to rehearse the USF, as to check that glitches and anomalies have been fixed. • Next rehearsal shall comprise RA-2/MWR Level 2 data circulation to make RA-2/MWR CCVT participation meaningful. • Next rehearsal will see the participation of the RA-2/MWR CCVT Data Circulation Coordinator only, representing the RA-2/MWR data user community. • Participation of other RA-2/MWR CCVT volunteers is possible but not likely. • It is envisaged that next rehearsal data circulation take place using the same delivery media (FTP,CD-ROM,etc.) as expected in the commissioning phase. 8th Envisat Plenary Meeting

  2. RA-2/MWR CCVT readiness status • Envisat product distribution via Ground Link test results: • BUFR formatted meteo data were available but could not be transferred because permission for transfer was denied. • Few security issues turned out: • Permission to write and delete files on the FTP server. • Password were set same as username. • Average throughput of transfers during the tests was calculated in 22 Kbytes/sec. 8th Envisat Plenary Meeting
